Henry Ratcliffe ‘Cliffe’ Ellis born 1885 died 1973. He was the son of Thomas Ratcliffe Ratcliffe-Ellis and Mary Dean 'Minnie' Barton. He was at Rugby school from 1899 to 1903.

He served in France as a lieutenant in the Manchester regiment.
